Six Word Saturday:
Flat hunting and car shopping weekend.
I’ve not settled back into real life yet. We still need to find somewhere to live and buy a car. We’ve been all over Sydney today looking at flats, hopefully we won’t have to do that again but we don’t know for sure yet. Ah the joys.
Happy Saturday everyone!
What a lovely view from the apartment!!
I wish you good luck on the flat hunting… it can take a lot of time I know. Hope you’ll find a flat & car you like soon!
Have a good weekend!
Thanks Cessie, I really hope it doesn’t take long at all!
It does take time … and it’s very tiring … hopefully soon Georgia ..
Tha does look a nice view !
Yes it is tiring but I hope it won’t take long
Good luck with the hunting – with a view like that do you need to hunt any further?
Thanks Viv. Unfortunately the good view didn’t make up for the apartment being difficult to get to, having a tricky parking situation and a shared laundry for us.
You’ll know it when you see it. Happy searching.
Thanks Ron. I’m hoping we’ve found it but need the landlords to agree too.
Your new home will be waiting for you. Good hunting.
Thanks Marion. I hope so.
Happy hunting and I love the view!
Thanks Judy, this one was pretty good.
That is a beautiful spot. Hope it’ll come together soon.
It sure is Amy. I hope so too, thank you.
Buying a car and finding a new home can both seem like full-time jobs! Best of luck!
Thanks very much
When I first read the title, I was thinking maybe you were lying on the ground, in wait of the creature you were trying to bag. Silly me! 😀 I hope you can find what you are looking for, soon.
Hahaha, you made me laugh. Thanks Mlissabeth 🙂
You are busy! Good hunting!
Thank you.
You are welcome. How’s it go?
There is one we quite like but need to put in an application tomorrow, as today was a public holiday here. I’ll keep you posted 🙂
Good I am glad! What was the holiday, always vastly curious!
Kathryn
It is called Labour Day. Equivalent of May Day or eight hour day in some places.
I learned something new! Thanks Georgia!
Thanks Kathryn. We got the flat we liked, getting the keys on Friday. I’m a happy girl 🙂
Pictures when you are settled? Maybe a before Georgia’s touch and after ? 🙂
Doesn’t sound too much fun at this stage, Georgia, but you could definitely live with that view! It must be amazing to live in Sydney 🙂
Yes I could but we’re blasé about views after the one we had in London
How beautiful, enjoy it all!
Thanks Karen
good luck on the search!
To celebrate the publication of my memoir, Dangled Carat, I have a giveaway going on…
Thank you Hilary.
nice view; have a Saturday
much love…
Thanks Gillena
Good luck with the hunt, Georgia. What a great view this one has.
It sure does Ad, thank you.
