Last year we visited Gibraltar, including a visit to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve to see the monkeys. On the way up there were many signs to the same effect as this one – warning of the cheekiness of the apes and that they would steal anything at all that they might be able to eat.
One person we saw had not taken the signs as seriously as others, and had her food taken – here she is scrabbling to try to get it back. She wasn’t successful but it was funny to watch as she scolded the apes loudly in Italian.
So there you go people, it is definitely best to follow the advice of signs so you don’t lose your lunch to a bunch of cheeky monkeys!

LOL – same thing in So Africa at Cape of Good Hope. Baboons there. Amazing 🙂
Ah yes, they must be so hungry all the time 😉
Excellent. I sure smiled with these signs.
Thanks Cee
