About

I think of myself as Australian, but I’m also British.

I think of myself as white, but I’m also Chinese.

I think of myself as young, but I’m almost 40.

I think of myself as a student, but I’m also a teacher.

I think of myself as a world traveler, but I’m back living in my home land.

I love my other half, I love my family, I love colour, and good bread.

And I love taking photographs.

  1. We had a drink by the pool side for all tenants in our building when we were in Darwin. It was funded by the Body Corporate. It was an opportunity for all to tenants to meet each other. Another thing is to start a building newsletter posted in the lift to see what ideas other tenants have. Love Dad

I’ve been following website for a month or more and also have picked up quite a number of good information together with loved the way you’ve structured your website. I am trying to operate my own, personal website even so believe its too general and I want to focus much more about scaled-down subjects.

  14. Hi, Georgia. I just discovered your blog, and I have enjoyed it so much this morning. Your photography is fabulous. The header alone is sensational — but, of course, you know that. I’ll come and visit again when I have more time to stay.

  17. I have been following your blog on and off, but this is the first time I read your “about”, and I had assumed you were a professional photographer. I was a secondary school science teacher too!! The quality of your photographs and your writing is amazing to me. Thanks for being so consistent with your blog. It is inspiring. You are inspiring. Your students are lucky.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words Carolee. I need to update some of the details here but yes I’m still a teacher and I love sharing my photos. Thanks for reading!

  18. Now, Georgia: I got all excited when I saw the title of your blog, thinking it meant you wrote about baking – y’know, bread and stuff. So why is it called ‘The Rainbow Bakery’? – and what excuse do you have to offer a grumpy Sydneysider who’s deeply, deeply disappointed? (which double of the adverb reminds me irresistibly of “Tootsie”!) [grin]

  19. Hey, thank you for following my blog. I’m delighted you stopped by so now we can be cyber-friends. And I do like the looks of your Rainbow Bakery.
