What would be your preference, awake before dawn or awake before noon? If I have things to do I’d rather be up before dawn but on a weekend I’d definitely prefer to lie in and be up before noon. Sometimes though I just can’t stay in bed for long after I’ve woken up and I need to get up.
If you could choose between Wisdom and Luck, which one would you pick? Wisdom. I think that if you are wise enough then you don’t need luck because you make your own luck.
If you were given the opportunity for free skydiving lessons would you take them? Why or why not? Skydiving is not something I’ve ever felt the need to do but if it was completely free, and totally safe, I’d probably give it a go once for the adventure, but then not feel guilty about giving it up if I didn’t like it.
Is the glass half empty or half full? What is in the glass? The glass is half full with the coffee I made earlier this morning and didn’t have time to drink.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful for the opportunity we had to see the Sun through a solarscope. I’ve never encountered this before but it was absolutely amazing to see a close up of the Sun, to notice the cooler sunspots on the surface (about the same size as our planet) and to be able to see the solar flares at the circumference, like in the image below.
In the week coming up I’m looking forward to having a lighter load at work and having some more time to do some forward planning.
