What is your favorite comfort snack food? I think it would have to be ginger nut biscuits. They are satisfyingly crunchy, sweet but not too sweet and have a slight gingery flavour that isn’t overpowering.
If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store but could remove nothing, which store would you pick? (except food or beverage) I think I would choose Ikea because the stores are so big that there would be plenty to explore over the entire weekend and it has lots of comfortable furniture to spend time in as well as lot of home ideas to share.
What was the largest city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most? I’ve just spent the last few minutes asking Google the populations of various large cities I’ve visited and it turns out that Shanghai, China is by far the largest. We visited in August 2004, I remember it being stiflingly hot and I remember going to visit the Bund area with millions of other people, and seeing the iconic TV tower. I had forgotten but I just found this photo taken by my other half of people washing windows on a large building. Can you see them?
Finish this sentence: It has recently come to my attention that …. I can’t eat whatever I want without consequences. I guess I have been blessed with good genes and a fast metabolism such that for a long time I could eat whatever I wanted and not seem to gain much weight but now I think I’m just getting older and losing my fast metabolism. My new FitBit is also constantly reminding me how many calories I have burned through the day and comparing with how many I have consumed so although I knew that I really couldn’t eat anything and everything that I felt like I guess it has just recently hit home.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? i’m grateful that I had sick leave and understanding colleagues when I had the flu this week.
