Six Word Saturday:
My FitBit calls me an overachiever.
Seen at Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi Beach, November 2013
Last week I told you about getting a new FitBit gadget to track all of my activity. It came with many default settings and I decided not to alter the target of 10,000 steps per day until I had an idea of how many I would do in a day anyway. I managed to make it to 10,000 steps easily each work day, usually my weekends are a little more sedate but I have also passed 10,000 for today as well. One day I had surpassed my target by 3pm and after a Zumba class later that night I reached a total over 18,000. Right now the FitBit app tells me I’ve almost done 90,000 steps this week. Today it also tells me that I’ve climbed 27 floors worth of stairs and gave me the Redwood Forest award.
Happy Saturday everyone!
90,0000 steps ! Well done Georgia !
Thank you Poppy
Congratulations! Is that a flight of steps in the photo? Just looking at them tires me out. 🙂
Thanks Elaine, it is an artwork that is a flight of steps disappearing into the sky
oh my! I’d love to have a pedometer so I can tell how far I walk on a hike!
It sure is interesting to know Kathe
Better to overachieve than to achieve nothing at all!
My Six Words
You are right about that
You sure are doing well!
Thanks very much Rosemary
I like this picture and the illusion that give you when you look at it (from the picture)… I don’t know if it is the same when you are right in front of it…..
Thanks Gilles, yes it was very similar when standing in front of it. The sculpture is very tall and the steps get smaller nearer the top to make it look further away.
