What type of music relaxes you the most or do you prefer silence? I enjoy listening to chillout type music to relax, mostly Buddha Bar and Cafe del Mar.
Show us a two of your favorites photographs? Explain why they are your favorite. If you are not a photographer, think of a two favorite scenes in your life and tell us about them. I love this photograph of footprints in sand because it is so simple, just sand really but shaped into footprints because of who was there before me, and I was pretty pleased with how I got the focus and framing of the image just so. I also like this photo of Sydney Harbour because it looks like something that could be in a travel magazine or website.
What is your favorite tradition? (family tradition, church tradition, whatever) My other half and I have started a tradition of taking each other to a new (to us) restaurant or place to celebrate our birthdays. It is fun trying out new places and making new memories together.
If you could go back and talk to yourself at age 18 what advice would you give yourself? Or if you are younger than 25 what words of wisdom would you like to tell yourself at age 50? I would say to my 18 year old self: work hard and enjoy yourself but don’t forget to look after your health and start saving for the future.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful that I was able to visit my hometown and spend some time with my family, especially to meet my new tiny niece at just one week old. I’m looking forward to having another week to relax before going back to work.

I really like your footprints photo. I totally agree with your advice to your 18 year old self. My husband and I have always said that if we knew what we know now we would definitely have done things a little differently with our finances. Thank goodness our oldest daughter has taken the advice that I would give my 18 year old self and her future looks pretty secure. The best part is that she’s also enjoying herself. She and her partner are able to budget for one big holiday every year.
Thanks Mama
Enjoy your vacation!
Thank you Patti, I needed it
