What was the last time you went to a new place? Last night we went to a new place for us. The restaurant has been open in our suburb for a while now and we’ve been meaning to try it but hadn’t managed it until now. It was reasonably good although it turned out to be more expensive than I was anticipating so I don’t think we’ll rush back although I’m glad we tried the new place.
If you were or are a writer do you prefer writing short stories, poems or novels, other? And what type of genre would you prefer? I’m not a writer at all. I tried doing NaNoWriMo once but didn’t get very far at all, mostly because I ran out of ideas for how to extend the story so if I did write I think I’d stick with short stories.
Out of your five senses (touch, taste, sight, smell, hearing) which is your favorite? My favourite sense is sight, which has been made so much better recently with a new contact lens.
If 100 people your age were chosen at random, how many do you think you’d find leading a more satisfying life than yours? I’m probably pretty average in that sense, so I’d guess it would be 50/50.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I picked up a new contact lens last week and I’m exceptionally grateful for the persistence of my optometrist in getting me the best vision I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to a meal out with friends this week to celebrate Chinese New Year.

I find it interesting that bloggers don’t consider themselves writers. Don’t sell yourself short. I think your writing is very good but I understand your reluctance on the subject of being a writer. It’s taken me years to admit that I’m an artist even though people have acknowledged me as an artist for a long time.
Thank you for that vote of confidence Carol, I really appreciate it. Yes, I’m a blogger 🙂
