Given the choice of anyone in the world, whom would you want as a dinner guest? I recently met one of my heroes at a book signing, Dr Karl Kruszelnicki is a brilliant science communicator and a very interesting person with something to say on just about any topic so I would invite him to be my dinner guest.
When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else? I guess that would be today. I don’t really think of it as singing to myself though, rather singing along with music that may or may not be only in my head.
If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be? To be able to sing in tune. A photographic memory. To be fluent in all the languages I’ve ever tried to learn. Super speed reading. Oh, Cee just asked for one quality… how about complete organisation?
What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about? When things like a few recent terrorism attempts, are new and raw and people are still involved in the situation I think it is too serious to be joked about. Although for some people it is a coping mechanism.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful for a lovely and relaxing catch up with girlfriends over coffee this week. It may sound strange but I’m looking forward to going back to work next week and having my routine back.
