Six Word Saturday:
Going barefoot to play lawn bowls.
Last night I went with some friends to a local bowling club where they host barefoot bowls each Friday night during the summer months. I was surprised that none of my friends had done this before, but I’ve been a few times at different locations and knew that it would be fun. I actually ended up becoming a social member of the club so I’m looking forward to going again. Next time I’ll go earlier so that we aren’t bowling in the dark.

Happy Saturday to you too…I have never heard of this…but it does look like fun!
It is just lawn bowls for the non-initiated really. And I think barefoot because they are a usually a bit precious about the state of their lawns.
Alda had been before. I’m so glad you organised it as I’d never have gone. Brilliant fun, and loved the club and the old gents who took such care of us.
