We’re going to a trivia quiz night tonight which should be fun. It’s one of those things that we’ve always done, in fact it was how I met my other half – at the local pub quiz. I can’t remember how we used to go in that particular competition but in some competitions we’ve been on the winning team week after week and at others it felt like we simply didn’t understand the questions. Either way, it has always been a fun thing to do together. There has been a run of fundraising trivia nights going on lately – it must be the thing to do – anyway, at the last two trivia events I’ve been to I’ve been on the winning team. Let’s see if we can make it a hat-trick.

I enjoy a good quiz night, in fact we were at one last weekend. I like them when the questions are reasonable with just a couple of really hard ones thrown in. Hope yours went well.
We had a whole round of local knowledge that we had no clue about, which was our main downfall I think.
That must have been tricky when you only moved there relatively recently (I think).
Oh, this quiz night was near my sister-in-law’s country property, which has been in the family for about 12 years but as we tend to only go there every second weekend-ish (and my other half & I spent 5 of those years on the other side of the planet) our local knowledge is very poor.
