Six Word Saturday:
Spring festival parade in the rain.
Officially spring began on the first of September, the day before had been filled with glorious sunshine and we spent part of the day admiring our neighbour’s daffodils – a sure sign of the change of seasons. The rest of this week has been getting gradually cooler and wetter again, despite everyone’s hopes of seeing the sun. Today’s spring festival parade went ahead even though the rain had settled in, the participants in the parade proudly soldiered on with smiles on their faces.
Happy Saturday everyone!
What fabulous photos you got. Loved how, despite the rain, there were still plenty of smiles on people’s faces.
Thanks very much Ezzee
We’re half a planet away up here in VT, USA, staring down the barrel of impending Autumn, waiting for the leaves to change & fall.
That is actually my favourite time of year Ron, enjoy!
What fun this all looks. It seems very strange to this Northerner to be thinking of daffodils in September. I suppose our leaves starting to colour and fall must be strange to you.
Not all that strange actually Vivienne, having moved from the northern hemisphere last year I still find myself thinking that what is happening around me is strange
Even rain can’t dampen the festive atmosphere.
My Six Words
And luckily the sun came out later in the day
How neat! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for visiting Dawn!
Spring for you! Autumn for us!

Shame about the rain but it looks fun anyway!
It was a bit of a battle seeing the activity around all of the umbrellas but yes, it was good anyway
