Six Word Saturday:
Great catch up with old friend.
Many years ago my dear friend Kulinda and I were doing our post-graduate research together along with a couple of other friends, Craig and Akshat, in Sydney. Within a couple of years we had all moved on – I don’t remember who left first but it all happened around the same time, Craig went to Melbourne, Akshat went to India, Kulinda found work in the USA and then we moved to London. Years later Akshat moved to Melbourne and we have returned to Sydney almost completing the circle. This month Kulinda is on holidays in Australia and had a great catchup with the rest of the gang in Melbourne which I was disappointed that I couldn’t make it to, but we had a brilliant catchup today in Sydney and I finally got to meet her son.

How fun to meet up with your friend and meet her son! True friendship remains no matter how far apart we have to be! Some of my very best friends have moved to other states but our friendship remained strong!
