If you could make a 15 second speech to the entire world, what would you say? Be kind to everyone, look after the people around you and look after the planet. Don’t expect things to always go your way and don’t expect things from others but be grateful when you receive kindnesses. Go out of your way to help other people, they are probably just like you.
If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be? I think I’d like to write a story from the perspective of the land in Þingvallir in Iceland and all the things that have happened there.
If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store but could remove nothing, which store would you pick? I think Ikea is the obvious choice here, mainly because it has lots of beds to sleep in over the weekend, as well as the cafe to get a feed in. I think I’ve also used Ikea WiFi before too, so it would be just like being at home really, only tidier and classier. I’d probably collect some decorating ideas while I’m there too.
If you were given a boat or yacht today, what would you name it? (You can always sell the yacht later) Georgia Peach.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m grateful for having my (temporary) job confirmed until the end of the year and a rare chance to catch up with my oldest friend who was visiting from my hometown for work. I’m looking forward to a long weekend next weekend and going to the Festival of the Fleeces for the first time.

Now I’m looking forward to your photos of the festival of the fleeces!
Just wait and see if any of my shots are good enough to publish, it will be fun to see the sheep marching up the street in their red woolen socks anyway
Wow, what a gorgeous picture. I am sure the story from Iceland would be fascinating too.
IKEA would be great, except I would eat too much of that butterscotch crunch cake they have and end up sleeping all weekend. Though I suppose that isn’t a bad thing… 🙂
Thank you. I was surprised at how well this photo turned out, given it was taken on my old old phone. I didn’t know Ikea did a butterscotch crunch cake, I’ll have to find an excuse to duck down there to sample it.
Congrats on the job confirmation. Thanks so much for sharing.
Thanks very much Cee
Good choice of a store. I wouldn’t mind Ikea too. I love their Swedish meatballs.
