Six Word Saturday:
Anxiety levels on the rise again.

Some of you who have been reading my blog for a while know that I had a cornea transplant eight months ago. I’ve been having regular checkups so that the doctors can make sure that it is healing properly and taking my eye-drops religiously. At my last checkup the doctor was concerned about some blood vessels growing towards the graft, because if it gets there the chances of rejection are much greater. I had another checkup this week and found that the unwanted blood vessels have indeed been growing where they shouldn’t be so we’ve scheduled in another visit next week for an injection of medicine that should reverse it. Sounds fun, right? I’m not so sure, but remaining focused on the goal of keeping the improved eyesight that I’ve gained since the operation.
Happy Saturday everyone!
Thinking of you and send good wishes xxx
