What’s your least favorite mode of transportation? A boat that has the possibility of being rocky and causing sea-sickness.
Where do you like to vacation? Anywhere I haven’t been before that has interesting history or features to learn about.
Which place do you recommend as a Must-See? Please state which country, state or providence. I think Spain has something for everyone. I’ve been there three times now, to different parts of the country, and each trip was very different yet all were enjoyable and interesting. If I had to narrow it down I’d suggest Segovia – you have to see the Roman aqueduct which is still standing and according to Wikipedia is thought to have been built in the 1st century AD. When you see it up close you realise how enormous it is and you think about how it was constructed without the use of modern engineering or machines. Another beautiful thing in Segovia is the Alcazar, which looks like a Disney castle.

If money was not an issue, would you go on a cruise? If so where would you go? On first glance the idea of a cruise is nice and if money was not an issue then it is very tempting to go on one, perhaps to Alaska or around the Pacific Ocean. But upon thinking about it, it is not really my style of travel, partly because it would (to my mind) mean being trapped on a boat with no way to escape from the frame of an organised tour where you can’t decide at the last minute to stay an extra night to explore somewhere you are enjoying. And you are doing all of this with thousands of other tourists at exactly the same time. My dear friend Christina went on a cruise recently and everything about their trip looked fantastic (read about it yourself here) but ultimately her opening paragraph is exactly why I should not go on a cruise myself, Christina writes:
If you are thinking about going on a cruise but you’re the type of person who doesn’t like to exercise and has no self control when it comes to your diet I have this advice for you: RUN. RUN LIKE THE WIND. Because when you go on a cruise it’s like having the world’s largest pantry, fridge and personal chef at your 24 hour disposal.
I enjoyed reading your answers as always. Your photo is outstanding. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Cee. Jedd took several photos to make this into a panorama, great isn’t it?
Hi, Georgia. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Love those colorful pansies! Our answers were very similar this week, though I’ve not been to Spain. Nice to meet you.
Thanks so much for popping by Patti!
I feel the same about the idea of a cruise – never in a million years!
Absolutely Gilly!
