Share Your World – 2013 Week 33

If you could live in any OTHER time, when would it be and why? Probably the 1960’s because it was modern enough that people didn’t die from really simple things and it is always portrayed as a really fun and carefree time for picnics in the sun and making daisy chains.

If you were given a yacht today, what would you name it? Lemon meringue.

Tell how you are feeling today in the form of a weather report. Bright and sunny but a little cool.

What are two things in nature do you find most beautiful? I love seeing and photographing flowers of all kinds. Lily arrangementAnd I absolutely adore seeing the stars but that is a rather rare occurrence living in the city with so much light pollution – check out the amazing photos from the New Scientist Astronomy photography competition here.

I think lightning is pretty cool too – my other half took some brilliant photos of lightning a couple of months ago, click on the link below the photo to see more shots from that night.

    • I’m sorry but I don’t. When I visit botanic gardens I usually try to find the name of each plant to photograph so that I know exactly what it is but this photo was taken at a show where I saw this display, I didn’t even think to look for a sign to say what they were because I wasn’t expecting one. They are lovely though.
