It’s my birthday; ignore the number.
I think it was about the time that we left Australia that my mum started doing cake decorating but now that I’m back I not only get to try her cakes I have my own birthday cake decorated by her!

That’s a gorgeous looking cake, Georgia. How big is your family? Or was your mother feeding the street? Number? I won’t tell 🙂
It is really impressive. Well we had about 18 adults (including one 15 year old) and 8 kids ranging in age from 5 weeks to 8 years and used about 1/2 the cake so now we are feeding the street 😉

Oh my, the cake looks way too delicious. What’s in it?
Actually the cake itself is simple vanilla cake, each layer coloured with different food colouring. Cemented together with white chocolate fondant. Quite delicious!
