Capture the Colour

I heard about the Capture the Colour competition run by TravelSupermarket last year and looked on with envy at the many and varied entries, so I was delighted when I was invited to participate this year by a blogger buddy Peripatetic Eric.

The idea is quite simple, you submit a photo that ‘captures the colour’ for each of the five colours. So here goes:

BLUE

The gorgeous deep blue of the Wall of Love at Montmartre Paris France.wall of love

GREEN

The extremely lush tree life surrounding the waterfalls at Waterfall Gully, South Australiawaterfall gully

RED

The vivid red of the plants contrasted against the Roman ruins in Tarragona, Spain.red plants and ruins

WHITE

Hundreds of white, unmarked, headstones in a cemetery in Fes, Morocco.cemetery

YELLOW

The bright and welcoming bollards around the outside edge of Plaza de España, Seville, Spain.

I hope you enjoyed my selections.I now wish to pass on an invitation to participate to the following bloggers – refer to Travel Supermarket for how to enter.

  1. All your photos are beautiful Georgia, but my fave is the red in Tarragona. We’re in Wroclaw, Poland now, and if the rain ever stops, we may be able to shoot a blue sky. Good luck in the competition. ~James
