I love playing with focus and changing the depth of field, the subject of this weeks Weekly Photo Challenge from the Daily Post. This shot was taken on the ‘beach’ that is formed at low tide on the Thames River near where we used to live in London. I’m pretty pleased with the effect of getting just the front of the image in focus while the background is a little blurred out.
Those water-worn house bricks are fabulous – I would have taken one home for display! Really nice photo.
Thanks very much. Yes, I might’ve taken one home too if we weren’t about to move countries!
Love the bricks, wonder how long it’s taken to get rounded off like that. Nice photo.
Thank you Frankwell. I think they have been there a while but I can’t tell exactly how long.
Wonderful shot, Georgia!
Thanks Amy!
