There is never a good time.

There is never a good time to become ill, but seriously why does my body pick today, of all days, to wake up with a sore throat – the precursor of a cold? It is going to be the hottest day of the year so far, a forecast of 30ºC. This is positively roasting for London so we are definitely going out to enjoy it. And it is now the last week of school before the summer holidays, as it is also my last week at this school I have a lot of tidying up and finalising of work to do. I don’t have time to be ill, not now.

I was sick just before school holidays and during the first week of holidays! No matter what I do, it seems to be a ritual round school report time pre our Australian winter.

I came down with a cold on Sunday. It has been non stop nose blowing. I can’t work out if it is the haet or my cold that has slowed me down so.
