We have a local family of swans near where we live on the Isle of Dogs, London. I caught one of the parents in full stretch the other day – a fleeting moment if ever there were one.

Great shot; Isle of Dogs … I had to look that up.
It’s an area of London

This is an amazing shot! I’ve been trying so hard to catch one of our ducks or geese in full stretch, with no luck just yet (though I’m stubborn so I won’t give up, lol). it’s just beautiful.
Thanks so much Lauren. My top tip for catching it is to have your camera on high speed continuous auto-focus and hope for the best.
what a brilliant click. i actually came here looking for a ‘threes’ post, however i didn’t see one. did i miss it? if there is none, no pressure. so i clicked on ‘random’ post and landed here. thanks for sharing this beautiful fleeting moment.
Thanks very much. I usually post my weekly photo challenge post on a Wednesday so I haven’t posted threes yet – look out for it in a few days, I do have one ready to go 🙂
