It was not recommended to me as the best museum to see in Paris but there are just a few things you can see here and nowhere else. Plus the pyramid is quite striking I think.

I don’t really think you can visit Paris and not bask in the Palais and Musée du Louvre. That would just be so non-cosmopolitan!

And it is worth going down stair to see the inverted pyramid pointing down, as described in Dan Brown’s novel. While you are still in Paris, or next time, the Rodin Museum is quaint and worth a visit.
Oh I missed the inverted pyramid, although I saw it on a postcard picture. Next time.
