Six Word Saturday:
Nearly wrote Six Word Saturday yesterday.
It is always nice to have a short working week, for something different. On Thursday on my way home from work I remembered to switch off my early alarm knowing that the next day would be Good Friday and I wouldn’t have to get up early. I then set another alarm so that I would wake up in time to get to the Good Friday combined churches event in Westminster. Obviously as I did this I wasn’t really thinking about it, as I realised after waking up later than I hoped on Friday, that I had set my alarm for 24 hours ahead on Saturday. I knew that I didn’t have to get up early because it wasn’t a work day, but I had been at work the day before so therefore it must be the weekend already. The brain works in mysterious ways.

Whose brain doesn’t? I hope you enjoyed the service!
Thanks Xiomara, it was very good
Haha! Yes, when my son doesn’t have school, I sometimes start confusing the days. 🙂
Happy Easter!
I often do too when I’m on an extended holiday as everyday can seem the same without regular commitments.
I hope you made it to church. Alarm clocks are a thing of the past since we retired however when we do use them we get up before they go off because we are afraid of not hearing it.
Yes, it made it in time thanks Judy. I actually woke up before the alarm was due but then fell back asleep.
I never seem to know what day it is anymore.
I envy you Deb.
You’ve confused my simple brain, that’s for sure.
Cool photo by the way.
Thanks very much Sleepshort
Time to confess! I very often prepare my Six word Saturday on Friday evening as I’m busy most Saturdays. Then I can just pop it on, tweak it a bit and off out to zumba. Happy Easter, Georgia.
Happy Easter Jo! I totally understand. Most of my posts are prepared in advance, you may have figured it out already since the ones published on work days at least are all programmed to go out at the same hour.
