With perfect serendipity, I recently took a trip to the History of Computing Museum in Bletchley Park, Bletchley UK. I love a museum that is like a trip back in time, and this one is perfectly so.

Your pics brought back some happy memories. My grandpa was a computer buff and I remember going to his place and playing on the Microbee, a computer that loaded programs such as PacMan with cassette tapes!
Wow, how weird is it to think that games were played on cassette tapes
I worked in the computer business in 1981. Our office ( now remember we were a computer company) was thrilled when we got 1 terminal that 30 of us shared. The only thing it did was allow us to type and print a document! I think we got email 4 or 5 years later :-). And yes, I was the one who predicted that no one would EVER buy a computer in a retail store LOL 🙂
sure, computers were so large then that you would never have predicted that in 30 years time almost everyone would have a tiny one in their pockets
Dramatic and fast change!
tell me about it!
great take on the theme.. cool ^^
Thank you KZ
