Just a quick update after I posted on Saturday about the winter night shelter finishing up this week, it has now been extended for another month! Good news!! I’m not sure myself where the funding is coming from, but I gather that we are hoping for even more food donations than usual. Anyway, I call that a win if we are able to look after our vulnerable guests through this particularly cold weather.
