Six Word Saturday:
Buried under a mountain of marking.
This is why I don’t have time to visit other blogs at the moment. Last weekend I marked one set of exams and one set of class tests. This weekend I need to finish off two sets of class tests and about 10 portfolios. And I have to finish it all because I know that on Monday there will be another three class sets of exams and they all have to be marked as soon as possible. Argh!

Good luck!!! No fun to be buried like that though, but part of the job I guess. Hope you’ll have a good weekend anyway!
True, true. It’s just a depressingly busy time of year. Thanks!
Ahhh…The Good Old Days (NOT!)
Oh NO! I did that for 43 years, whew so glad that’s over and behind me now! Good luck, am thinking of you.
Thanks. Wow, 43 years of service – you must be exhausted!
I remember those days. Good luck!
Thanks Dana. I’ll really get stuck into it tomorrow
And added to that 6WS won’t even cooperate, Georgia! Second time lucky.
Roll on the Easter break? Not long now.
Oh, yeah. I figured out that it was because I started this post a few days ago on my phone but then it got published with that date, which I thought was silly as I actually published it today. But then when I fixed that the link didn’t work. Yep, definitely looking forward to Easter.
I know the feeling from when I used to be a class teacher (rather than the supply that I do at the moment). 😦
Ah yes, there are benefits to doing supply but I didn’t much enjoy having not knowing that was going on at all the different schools that I worked at.
Oh noes! Good luck getting through everything! Sending diligence and energy your way 🙂
Happy 6WS!
Thanks for the encouragement and good vibes AJ. I’ll be spending tomorrow with my head down in papers.
You will get through it all…and then you will feel a sense of accomplishment! Hang in there!!!!
Happy Saturday!
Linda
Nearly there. Thanks Linda
