1. If you could be any animal, what would you be? I think I’d like to be a horse – strong, friendly and useful. Oh, and tall.
2. If you had to describe your day as a traffic sign, what would it be? Definitely something unusual and unexpected like this sign for crossing penguins ahead. Being a secondary school teacher, there is not a day that goes by without something unusual and unexpected happening, it certainly makes life interesting!
3. What was your most memorable birthday? My other half takes great delight in reminding me that he took me to India for dinner, one year for my birthday – that was pretty great, and we stayed for nearly two weeks. I know you shouldn’t sign forms without reading them first but he managed to convince me to sign the visa application form without me knowing what it was (although I did figure it out before too long). We found a little rooftop restaurant recommended by the Lonely Planet guide for my birthday dinner and had a lovely time. I think that night we were also staying in a hotel that had self-massaging chairs, and I nearly fell asleep in one of them.
4. In what do you find the simplest of joys? Sitting down with a nice cup of tea and a good book.
