Your photos inspire me. I am just starting out, so I am reading books about exposure, aperture,etc. I am sure this photo took some fine manipulations with the camera. Or did it?
Thank you so much Carolee, you say such nice things. Um, yes, this picture in particular took a little bit of fiddling. I tend to go with the strategy of taking loads of photos and hope that some of them turn out OK. Often I also set my camera to bracketing so that with each snap I get 1 normal exposure, 1 overexposed and one underexposed so that I can choose the best exposure for each shot when I look at them on the big screen rather than play with the settings for each photo.
