‘Miss, I don’t feel very well’ says the happiest girl I know as she arrives to lesson looking unusually sad and dejected. She still makes an effort, as usual, but contributes with a little less fervour. The lesson changes direction, she knows this already – increases her confidence as she succinctly explains what’s next. Change tack again, learning becomes fun again. ‘Thank-you Miss, I feel better now’. She made going back to work today that much easier.jan13large
