First attempt at a small stone: Cooking Dinner

So I’ve seen a few of my blogger friends post a bit today with titles about small stones, yet stories completely unrelated. I was completely mystified, thinking that I’d been transported in my sleep into a future where words have different meanings. So, with some explanation from Jo from Chronicles of Illusions and a little prod from Gilly from Lucid Gypsy I’m making my first attempt at the Mindful Writing Challenge.pork chops

Heady vapours waft over from the kitchen. Delicious pepper, salt, garlic, chilli, and something else I can’t quite place but know I like. Sizzling away in the pan, making me hungry.jan13large

  1. Delicious stone, Georgia. You’ve inspired me to google ‘small stones’ and now I’m going to have a go at writing one every day this month. As it happens, the main character in the next book I’m writing notices small things. There’s synchronicity for you!
