Thank you Carolee! I don’t know if the Lion’s enclosure is always decorated but the gingerbread hearts are from my Winter Wonderland post and I thought they made a nice Christmas header.

It comes in a box ?????
Yep. They call it enrichment – the food is placed differently each time and sometimes a hidden so that the animals have a small challenge to find their dinner.
I wonder what happens if they eat the box ???
Firstly get a new box. Secondly, hopefully, realise that the lions aren’t being fed enough if these carnivores are willing to eat a cardboard box.
