It was a long time coming but this week just gone was half-term break for most schools in England. Boy, was it good to be able to just sit and relax and recharge my batteries. I feel like a whole new person.

From some points of view it looks like I haven’t achieved anything this week, but I have really. I’ve relaxed.

What do you do to relax?

  1. It seems to me that I usually need a week off to recover from vacation. I try to balance work & non-work, stress & stress reduction on a daily basis.

  2. I read to relax…and that includes reading blogs!
I like to get away sometimes too…and I do need to do that soon…but when we return it will be nice to be home again…that’s just how it is.
So glad you had a week off to relax.

    Happy Saturday!

    Linda

    • Happy Saturday to you too Linda! I love reading, I find getting lost in a book a fantastic way to relax into a different world. What are you reading at the moment?

    • Thanks Jo, I probably didn’t make the most of my half-term but I did get maximum rest which is exactly what I needed this time around.
Do you mean the red sky with London skyline silhouetted? Thanks, I’m pretty proud of that pic too, hence it being my header 🙂
