Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is to use contrasting colours, specifically:
I have to admit that I was scratching my head for a while with this one, red and green seem to be everywhere and easy to find, particularly in nature. But I thought the others were a bit of a challenge – until I went through my image folders and ended up having to choose from several.
Red and Green: Ripe red currants.
Orange and blue: floor tiles.Where do you notice these colour combinations?
Those tiles are wonderful! Where did you find them?
Thank you! That is one of the floors in the Alcazar in Seville, Spain.
Ahhh – I didn’t remember it – what a fantastic design 🙂
Yes it is, I was fascinated by all the tile designs I saw in Spain & Portugal
The photo of the bush laden with currents is my favourite. Love the contrast of the red with the green.
As soon as I started thinking about the red and green combination I was seeing it everywhere and took a few new shots, we have some lovely red geraniums in flower just now, but I decided to go with this older photo as it seemed more interesting.
Such great photos for contrasting colors. Wonderfully done!!
Wow, thanks for the positive comment Cee. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Brilliant colours, just brilliant
Wow, thank you for such a lovely comment.
Great photos! Those tiles are amazing! Also love the shot with the berries, such a vibrant red!
And the currant bush being totally laden with fruit really brings out the colours too. Thanks for stopping by Fluffy Tufts.
The flowers and the pattern on the floor are very nice.
Thanks for your lovely comment YellowCable
