Paint on a wall seems to accentuate the texture underneath.
This graffiti was spotted on the way up the hill to visit St George’s Castle in Lisbon, Portugal. We know that we are getting closer to the castle now.
Lots of people in a tourist area can present some dangers.
In Fes, Morocco, we saw lots of places with a series of boxes painted on the wall. Each box being gradually filled up with symbols representing various political parties as they campaign for a forthcoming election.

The boxes filled with symbols remind me of hyroglifics. Your 4 th photos is a stand alone piece of art.
Thanks Lesley. Yes the symbols in the boxes I are effectively hyroglifics representing the political parties, I suppose as literacy in Morocco is quite low then pictures are more useful than words.
Very cool take on the challenge!
Thanks! Is it too much applying my own theme to a given theme?
I don’t think so. I think the idea with challenges is inspire you – and this was inspired! 😉
Aw, what a lovely thing to say. Thank you.
