This week’s Sunday Post theme, hosted by Jake Sprinter, is Autumn. I posted last Autumn about how much I love the season in my Autumn Leaves post.
Autumn has not properly arrived in London yet, which is good, as the seasons don’t officially change until the equinox, September 22nd.
Some trees are already starting to change colour.
A few trees have more dramatically changed colour.
Leaves are falling. And might cause problems in the streets.
Another indication of the change of season being imminent is the annual Great River Race held on the Thames about this time each year. Yesterday morning I was woken to the sounds of various horns, clapping, cheering and the odd vuvuzela, all signaling that the end of summer is nigh.
Which is your favourite season and why?
Great work for this week theme my friend ,Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks for the great theme Jake

Great shots Yen-Yen
Love the ivy creeping through the dead leaves. It creates the perfect colour mix (in my eye)
Thanks Lesley, I liked it too
You can guess, Georgia, but I still like kicking crispy leaves about.
Snap! I love that too!! That is, until I find a pile of fermenting dog poop under there….
